  Pepsi Just Launched a Sparkling Water Line It’s no secret that the $1.2 billion sparkling water industry is booming right now, with key players such as Spindrift and La Croix killing the game, and Coca-Cola recently announcing its new line of fruity Diet Cokes. Now, it seems like PepsiCo wants to get in on the fun, too, as it just released a new brand of zero-calorie flavored fizzes dubbed Bubly (with one b). So far, we know that the cans come in eye-catching colors, splattered with emoji-like faces, while the can tabs feature light-hearted messages in textspeak such as “hey u,” “yo,” and hiii.

But how much is too much ? However, also note that sparkling water or seltzer water isn’t the worse thing for your teeth either. When compared to soda, it is less acidic and has less sugar, which we all know is a substance that also contributes to tooth decay.

Sip a sparkling glass or two and you’re completely fine — the drink is all-natural, zero-calorie, and ultimately hydrating. But if you’re guzzling can after can at your desk, it could be time to slow down.

If you’re drinking three or more a day, you’re on the brink of spending over $40 a month on sparkling water alone.

So you might want to warn your friendly office seltzer addict — enough is enough. If you’re annoyed enough to grow tired of hearing that familiar crack of a can day after day, there’s reason to be concerned.

The good news is that seltzer is still a better choice than soda. It’s far less acidic and contains fewer sugars, chemicals, and artificial sweeteners. It’s also better for you than most other zero-calorie drinks filled with flavorings and chemicals.
