A 19-year-old Toronto man who was reported missing in December has been found dead in Kawartha Lakes.

Kawartha Lakes police say the death of Bayram Abolhassani-Larki is being investigated as a homicide. Abolhassani-Larki’s body was found in a vehicle parked in a field near Post Rd., Tuesday.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, but police said a forensic post-mortem examination confirmed Abolhassani-Larki was a victim of homicide.

The man was last seen Dec. 12, at around 11 p.m., in the area of Front St. W and John St. in Toronto.

It is unknown how long Abolhassani-Larki was dead before his body was found. There is no information about possible suspects.
