  4 injured in Surrey, B.C., after motorcycle forces car into water-filled ditch Four people have been injured, one of them seriously, after a motorcycle forced their vehicle into a water-filled ditch in south Surrey, B.C. Police say the vehicle, a Honda CRV, was travelling south on King George Boulevard near 48 Avenue around 1:30 p.m. when it was cut off by a motorcycle travelling in the same direction."The Honda attempted to take evasive action to prevent a collision, [but] it overcorrected and went into a water-filled ditch and rolled over, trapping the occupants inside," said Sgt. David MacDonald, with Surrey RCMP.

A man in his 40s and two young children , a boy and a girl, were rushed to hospitals with serious injuries after the assault near Jane St. and Steeles Ave.

Two small children and an adult male are in serious condition after an assault took place in the Black Creek area on Saturday afternoon, Toronto police say.

A man in his 40s and two children, a boy and a girl, have been rushed to hospitals following an assault in the Black Creek area Saturday afternoon.

Toronto police said the two children were taken to Sick Kids Hospital in serious condition and the man was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital in life-threatening condition. Police received a call just after 3 p.m. about an assault that happened near Jane St. and Steeles Ave.

Police were investigating the assault, and had cordoned off an apartment in a building at 5000 Jane St.

2 of 5 teens accused in videotaped attack on student plead guilty .
Three of the five teenagers arrested in connection with the beating of a 15-year-old boy in a Rivière-des-Prairies park last week have been released on strict conditions. Two of the teens who were released pleaded guilty to conspiracy and assault causing bodily harm. They will be back in court on Dec. 11 for sentencing arguments.The third teen to be released pleaded not guilty.The boys can't go anywhere near the victim's school or refer to him on social media. The ones who pleaded guilty also have to remain with their parents and guardian 24 hours a day.
