Prince Albert police say foul play is not suspected after a body was found in the home of a missing woman.

Brandy Busch, 39, was reported missing by her family on Feb. 18, five days after she was last seen in the 700-block of 10th Street North.

Police now say human remains were found in her in home in the northern Saskatchewan city.

Investigators are working with the coroner’s officer to confirm the identity of the remains.

Police said there is no threat to public safety but are asking people in the area to report anything unusual on their property to them.

Police say officers were called to the Heritage Hills Golf Club in Shanty Bay, Ont., on Feb. 27 after a group of hunters located what they believed were human remains. Investigators say the remains were confirmed as human but a buildup of snow and ice in the area required slowly thawing out the underlying ground and melting the snow before the remains could be removed.They say a forensic anthropologist co-ordinated the removal of the remains last Friday and they were transported to the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Service for an autopsy.
