  Ontario man, 20, in custody after police chase ends with car crashing into pole near Pearson Airport Ontario Provincial Police say a Brampton man, 20, is in custody after a police chase that ended when an allegedly stolen vehicle crashed into a pole.The man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, is facing charges of possession of stolen property over $5,000, according to Sgt. Kerry Schmidt, spokesperson for the OPP's Highway Safety Division.

Three people were injured , two critically , in a three-vehicle crash in Brampton Monday afternoon. Peel paramedics transported another person to a trauma centre in critical condition and a third to a local hospital with serious injuries .

Peel police are looking for a male suspect after a shooting at a home in Brampton left two people in critical condition Thursday night.

Const. Bancroft Wright said police were called to the area of Clementine Dr. and Pergola Way around 8:30 p.m. He said a man entered a home in the area prior to the shooting.

When emergency services arrived, they found a man in his 60s and a woman in her 40s suffering from gunshot wounds. Peel paramedics rushed both victims to a Toronto hospital in life-threatening condition.

Wright told reporters a family of five including two children were at the home when the shooting occurred. No other injuries were reported.

Investigators believe the shooting to be an isolated incident as the suspect is known by one of the occupants of the home, Wright said. Police said the suspect is still believed to be armed.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
