  Three children, two adults taken to hospital after crash in North York Five people have been taken to hospital early Monday morning after a crash on Hwy. 401, paramedics report. Paramedics received the call around 12:45 a.m. Monday where they found a three vehicle collision in the eastbound lanes at Leslie St. Two women, one in her 50s and one in her 60s, were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, while three children were transported to trauma centres. One of the children was in life-threatening condition. It is not known if all involved were in the same vehicle or in separate vehicles.Inori Roy is a breaking news reporter, working out of the Star's radio room in Toronto.

Porsche Cayenne SUV collides with group of cyclists on the Spanish island of Mallorca, injuring nine. The front of the Porsche was badly damaged, and the windscreen smashed. The driver of the Porsche was described as a 30- year - old local woman.

The vehicle was heading west behind the cyclist — who was also heading west — when the collision happened, RCMP said. He was from Medicine Hat. The 74- year - old woman who was driving the SUV was not injured .

A six-year-old boy was seriously injured Tuesday evening after his bicycle collided with an SUV in Fort McKay, Alta., police say.

The collision happened near an uncontrolled intersection of the 400 block of Target Road, in Fort McKay First Nation.  Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to the call at 8:38 p.m. MT.

The boy was transported by Wood Buffalo Emergency Medical Services to a nearby hospital but was later airlifted to Edmonton.

According to a news release issued Wednesday, he is in stable and receiving medical treatment for serious injuries.

The driver of the SUV, a 78-year-old woman, was also transported to hospital.

Wood Buffalo RCMP are continuing to investigate the incident.
