Entertainment Weekly asked him about his role as the flawed, conflicted, desperate Boromir in "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring."

Boromir dies toward the end of the film, taking arrows in pretty much every part of his body as a way of protecting his hobbit buddies, Merry and Pippin.
