Democracy Watch asks court to force Lobbying Commissioner to investigate Aga Khan

Democracy Watch asks court to force Lobbying Commissioner to investigate Aga Khan Democracy Watch is calling on the Federal Court to overturn former lobbying commissioner Karen Shepherd’s decision not to investigate the Aga Khan in connection with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s visit to his private island in the Bahamas. The group is arguing that Shepherd erred in law when she ruled in September 2017 that the Aga Khan didn't violate the lobbying rules because he is not paid to lobby on behalf of the foundation that bears his name.

JEFF PROBST : Ghost Island represents all the bad decisions made by former players . Think of it as the graveyard for Survivor mistakes. I loved them when I met them before the game. How would you sum them up after watching them play ? We have a stellar group.

Every time I head on location for the filming of Survivor , I ask Jeff Probst to name the players he’s most excited to see out on the island . So whom did Probst like heading into Survivor : Ghost Island ?

Every time I head on location for the filming of Survivor, I ask Jeff Probst to name the players he’s most excited to see out on the island. It’s an interesting time because this usually takes place on day 1 of the game so it’s all guesswork at that point. Probst has seen all the players up close and personal many times through the casting process, but he really doesn’t know what’s going to happen once they get on the beach.

And there are always surprises. I speak from experience on that one because some of the people I have loved in my pre-game interviews end up being disappointments once the cameras turn on, while other players that might not impress in a pre-game chat can suddenly pop on screen when the stakes are raised. So it’s guesswork in terms of picking out the best players and characters that will emerge, but call it educated guesswork, because far more often than not, those first impressions do play out as expected.
