Mariah Carey is reportedly facing a serious lawsuit and it is not some sort of copyright dispute.

The famous singer is being sued by her longtime manager Stella Stolper for violating the U.S. Civil Rights Act, the Fair Employment and Housing Act, and breach of contract, alleged sources tell TMZ.

Stolper is said to have been the "go-to person" during Carey's engagement to Australian business magnate James Packer. The two were "joined at the hip," the publication reports, until they parted ways last year.

The former manager is believed to be suing for a significant sum of money.
