The actor – who played Chris Harrington on the show from 2013 to 2016 – revealed he was diagnosed with brain cancer in August last year.

Appearing on the Kyle & Jackie O show on KISS FM on Tuesday, Johnny says he's 'feeling good'.

"I'm feeling good," Johnny tells the hosts, revealing he is still undergoing treatment.

"I still have it. I'm still doing chemo. I do chemo once a month for 4 or 5 days."

"I don't know. Maybe. You'll have to ask [the producers]," Johnny replies mysteriously.

"He [Chris] just went to see his family," Johnny says of his character's departure from the series. "Maybe he will come back."
