  NFL’s Pacman Jones attacked by airport employee in Atlanta Police say former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones was attacked during a run-in with a facility-service employee at the airport in Atlanta. Atlanta Police spokesperson Jarius Daugherty says Jones confronted ABM Industries employee Frank Ragin after Ragin made a “gesture” toward the football player Tuesday night at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Police say words were exchanged before Ragin struck Jones with a closed fist, causing a cut to Jones’ face.

An Atlanta airport employee was arrested for two counts of battery following an altercation with embattled NFL free agent Pacman Jones. The verbal spat turned physical when Ragin punched Jones. The closed-fist strike caused a laceration on Jones’ face.

An employee at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta was arrested on two counts of battery after punching Adam "Pacman" Jones during an altercation Tuesday evening, police told TMZ Sports.

It's unclear what sparked the incident, but officials told TMZ Sports that the employee, Frank Ragin, made a gesture toward Jones, leading the NFLer to confront him.

"Mr. Ragin eventually struck Mr. Jones with a closed fist ... causing a laceration to Mr. Jones' face," police said. "Mr. Jones then started to defend himself, causing Mr. Ragin to fall to the ground."

Jones was traveling with a woman, who was also hit in the incident and suffered an injury to her hand. Neither Jones nor his companion were seriously injured.

The episode is still under police investigation.
